Abstract
The measure of dissimilarity D(A, B) between arbitrary gray-scale images A and B presented in this contribution is useful for a quantitative performance evaluation of image restoration, edge detection, thresholding and segmentation methods, see (Zamperoni and Starovoitov, 1998).
