Abstract
Bioluminescent ATP is not a new method. It has been used for many years in breweries as well as in the pharmaceutical industry. However, widespread use of this method has previously been limited by time-consuming procedures, the size of equipment and instability of the reagents used. Only now are we going to see the real benefits of bioluminescent techniques.
