Abstract
This book is devoted to a comparatively young but rapidly developing branch of the mathematical statistics dealing with the statistical analysis of data about complex objects, systems, and models which cannot be described by a unique probabilistic mechanism. Unlike classic statistical procedures aimed at parameter estimation and decision making for ‘simple’ objects modelled by a single probabilistic mechanism, methods considered in this book are oriented to the analysis of statistical behavior of complex objects with several (and a priori unknown) data generating mechanisms.
