Estimation of Magnetic Field Components in Prominence Using Magneto Hydrodynamic Model
In this paper we have constructed a quasi two-dimensional model for solar prominence, which is in both magneto-hydrostatic and thermal equilibrium. It is found that the nature of the solution depends on the value of temperature at the center of the prominence (T0) and the value of R (the ratio of magnetic pressure at the center of the prominence (p m ) to the value of total pressure inside the prominence (C 1)). The effect of variation of T 0, C 1 and R on the components of the magnetic field is also discussed.
