Abstract

Under clastic formations, both unconsolidated and consolidated sediments have been included. Unconsolidated sediments include various admixtures of boulder, sand, silt and clay deposits. These on consolidation form clastic sedimentary rocks, e.g. sandstone, siltstone and shale.
