Abstract
In this chapter we shall study the second order initial value problem
where the nonlinear term f may be singular at either (i) y = 0 but not y ′ = 0, (ii) y = 0 and y′ = 0, or (iii) y′ = 0 but not y = 0. Our theory in this chapter is based on the recent work of Agarwal and O’Regan [31].
