Abstract

This chapter surveys the nephrotoxicity of anti-infectious agents includes the aminoglycosides, betalac-tamines, amphotericin, antiviral agents and various drugs either recently recognized as nephrotoxic or having been described in the older literature but now, as for example sulphonamides, inciting renewed interest because of their indication in the treatment of nosocomial infections.
