Abstract
As mentioned at the beginning of chapter 1, and at the end of chapters 4 and 9, one of the rather unexpected significant advantages of the parametric approach to Lie group actions is the natural and easy way such an approach can be extended to Lie semigroup actions. And unlike studied so far in the literature, see Hilgert & Hofmann & Lawson, Hilgert & Neeb, Weinstein, this time, these Lie semigroup actions can be genuine semigroup actions, that is, they need not be subsemigroup actions of some Lie group actions. Also, one should note that the mentioned Lie semigroup actions in the literature cited are not applied to PDEs or their solutions.
