Abstract

The reforming of CH4 with CO2 is a the highly endothermic reaction (1):

$$ \begin{array}{*{20}{c}} {C{O_2} + C{H_4} = 2CO + 2{H_2}}&{\Delta H = - 247{{kJ} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{kJ} {mole}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {mole}}} \end{array} $$
