Abstract
Here, we shall consider the following damped difference equation
where σ is a positive quotient of odd integers (odd/odd), the function a(k) is eventually positive, and H : N × ℝ × ℝ → ℝ. For the equation (17.1) we shall establish existence theorems for positive monotone solutions. An oscillation theorem for (17.1) will also be derived.
