Abstract

“We’ve been trying to tell you you’re wrong!” With this reprimand, a nine-year old girl, hand on hip, expressed the class’ exasperation with the slowwitted mathematics professor who couldn’t understand the obvious. That morning I got a lesson about whether the creative-like behavior of children reflects creativity or an inability to discriminate.
