Abstract

We can now see the intensive development of computer control systems for the Russian forest fire protection service. The system exists at the federal level in the Central Base for Aerial Fire Protection Avialesookhrana and implementation of control systems at the regional aviation bases of forest fire protection has begun. But most complex and demanding are the low levels of forest fire control - the levels of the operative departments and fire crew leaders in suppression operations on large fires (Valendik 1990).
