Red Clover Science

Part of the book series: Current Plant Science and Biotechnology in Agriculture ((PSBA,volume 28))

Abstract

This chapter deals with the various methods used in handling breeding populations in diploid and tetraploid populations of red clover. Aspects of tetraploid clover that are different are discussed in Chapter 13, Tetraploid Red Clover. Genetics and the specific aspects of improving red clover characteristics will be delt with in other chapters.
