Abstract
The legitimacy of interpreting scientific theory in a realistic way has been increasingly accepted by physicists and philosophers of science. For centuries the results of relevant investigations in natural sciences have made it possible to use the hypothetico-deductive method fruitfully. This tremendously strengthens the rationality of, and the belief, in realistic interpretations.
