  • 525 Accesses

Abstract

The present volume has its origins a series of lectures examining the relation between phrase structure and the lexicon, which took place during the academic year 1992–1993 at Indiana University. Billed as the Indiana Lecture Series in Formal Syntax: Phrase Structure and the Lexicon, it featured thirteen speakers who were invited on a biweekly basis to lecture on their research in this area. Apart from the authors of the papers included in this volume, speakers for the lecture series also included Stephen Anderson, David Dowty, Richard Larson, and Beth Levin.
