Abstract

United Nations Conferences are usually the outcome of thorough and timeconsuming preparations. This was also the case with the Cairo Conference for which numerous preparatory meetings took place in several working groups and international gatherings. The ICPD-Secretariat was responsible for coordinating the preparation.
