Abstract

The decisive measure of the quality and applicability of a model is the comparison with empirical data. Hence we require strategies for the determination of the model parameters as U a (x;,t) or D a (x , x ; t) from suitable data material. These mostly base on the method of least squares. Since available data material is not always complete, we will develop useful methods even for such cases.
