Abstract
DOES time have a non-trivial logical or topological structure? This possibility was implicitly recognized long ago; it found formal expression in temporal logics in the 60’s and 70’s and has even acquired considerable practical significance since the recent advent of parallel computing. But the question has, so far, not been considered from the point of view of physics.
