Abstract
Let Ω be a totally ordered set and A(Ω) be the l-group of all order permutations of Ω. One should ask which l-varieties can be generated by the l-groups A(Ω). Such l-varieties are now completely known. More precisely, var l (A(Ω)) is either ℒ, N or A n for some positive integer n. This remarkable result is due to W.Ch.Holland [12].
