East Africa is the home of world’s most famous cultivated tropical grasses. Buffel, Kikuyu, Guinea, Rhodes, Setaria, Star and Sorghum varieties of this region have become household names in other continents, in countries as far apart as Mexico and Brazil, Japan and Australia.
