Abstract
Nutrient media obviously are an important factor in cell and tissue culture. However, complete factorial design experiments, in which all chemicals in the medium are varied over a wide concentration range, have not been carried out with any tree species. To carry out such research would require far more manpower than is available in most laboratories.
