Abstract

In the paper, results of experimental studies of heat transfer for a gas — liquid system in a stirred tank, equipped with baffles and two disc turbines are presented. The stirred tank with inner diameter T = 0.3m was filled with liquid up to HL = 2T. Distributions of the heat transfer coefficient were measured by means of thermal and electrochemical methods. Results of the experiments were presented in the form of equations (19) and (20). Experimental values of h, obtained by thermal method were compared with results, calculated on the basis of the local values of the hydrodynamic parameters.
