Abstract
As we have seen, employing several Lyapunov functions is a useful approach in investigating stability and boundedness properties of ordinary differential equations. The tools developed are also adaptable to other dynamic systems and offer a flexible mechanism to obtain criteria under less restrictive conditions. We shall, in this chapter, extend the method of vector Lyapunov functions to a variety of nonlinear systems restricting ourselves to some typical results to avoid monotony.
