Abstract
The degree of success of a computer control application depends mainly on the effectiveness of the algorithm. Algorithms for digital computer control are generally designed from plant specifications and desired performance characteristics. If the plant is too complex for mathematical analysis, then appropriate mathematical models may be obtained using response data obtained experimentally.
