Abstract
To understand uncertainty we must take a closer look at its various sources. These leave more uncertainty than we normally recognize. Indeed, our knowledge is always far less certain than the statistical measures lead us to believe. The basis for this claim will be a review of the mutual relationship of the three concepts that are fundamental for all prediction.
