Abstract

Selected photoreactions conducted in different types of heterogeneous photoreactors are reviewed in this paper. Wherever possible, the effect of photoreactor design on the photoreactions will be discussed. Some of the reactions and reactors deserve more research efforts to assess their potential for industrial development. Systematic and rigorous modelling and design of heterogeneous photoreactors should go hand in hand with research on reaction studies.
