Abstract
As part of the KonTur experiment in the autumn of 1981 the atmospheric pressure over surface gravity waves was measured. The instrument carrier was a slim mast located in the North Sea, 27 km off the island of Sylt at station 8 of the JONSWAP array (Hasselmann et al., 1973). The pressure sensor was provided by R.L. Snyder and of the same type as used in previous experiments (Snyder, Dobson, Elliott, Long, 1981, (SDEL)).
