Abstract
Is the world in crisis? An educator recently said: “Living in the late twentieth century is a hazardous adventure. Ours is not the only generation ever to have sensed that we live on the edge of doom, but we surely have more hard evidence than ever before to prove it” (Posvar, 1980).
