Abstract
It was emphasized earlier that the laws of electromagnetism have the same form when compared in coordinate systems that are in relative motion only if the translation of ‘words’ — the space and time parameters — are such that they transform together as a unified set. Thus, the measures of space and time may not be treated separately in an objective sense; rather, they must be unified as a space-time measure in the language structure for the physical laws.
