Abstract
Fig. 1 shows particles of magnesium oxide and zink, which are piled up at the solidification front of salol and thymol, respectively. The particle diameter is about 5µm. The solidification rate was 10µm/s. Fig. 1 is taken from a paper of Uhlmann, Chalmers and Jackson (1964).
