Abstract
Considering pastures as grazed ecosystems, integrated research is being carried out on a mountain pasture in upper Bavaria. Six 1 ha large padogs are differently managed respectively abandoned in order to find out the influence of different managements on the ecosystem.
The above soil phytomass is harvested weekly during the vegetation period. Changes in the vegetational composition are registered by qualitative and quantitative methods. Measuring programs for micro- and macroclimatical factors are carried out as well as soilphysical investigations.
the research projekt is planned to be enlarged to an ecosystem analysis.
