Abstract
Husserl suggested that I add something like the following to my letter to Mr. Welch57:

E. Parl Welch (born 1905 ), American philosopher, author of works about Husserl’s philosophy.
William Tudor Jones (r865–1946), a Unitarian minister born in Wales, lecturer, author of works about German philosophy.
W. are preparing the publication of the concrete investigations, which Edmund Husserl has undertaken for many years, towards laying a solid foundation for a genuine psychology (a purely intentional psychology), further of a systematic, fundamental work in which the method and problematics of a phenomenological philosophy are to be set forth. Before that — presumably in Summer 1932 —, a German enlarged redrafting of the Cartesian Meditations will appear.“
Was Mr. Tudor Jones present at the London Lecture of 1922 (192o?)?“ — In the preface to his book, Contemporary Thought of Germany, Tudor Jones refers to notes he made at Husserl’s London lecture (which was held in 1922 ).
