Abstract
Provisional global shorelines are presented, on palaeo-positioned continents, for all twelve Cretaceous stages. A stage-by-stage commentary and bibliography of sources for the Cretaceous shorelines of Europe is represented as an example of the degree of spatial and temporal uncertainty inherent in all shoreline reconstructions, even in a well-researched region.
