Abstract
The President said that this session would be a continuation of the theme for International Co-operation Year, and that firstly a progress report would be given on the international unification of cataloguing rules, and secondly a report of the work of the International Standards Organization (ISO) in the field of documentation and bibliography; it was very important for us to know what such international organizations were doing.
