Abstract
The duration of the term of office of members of the Com mission elected on 18th May 1954 shall be calculated as from this date. Similarly, the duration of the term of office of any member elected as a consequence of a State becoming a Party to the Con vention after 18th May 1954 shall be calculated as from his election.

La durée du mandat des membres de la Commission élus le 18 mai 1954 est comptée à partir de cette date. De même, la durée du mandat de tout membre élu du fait qu’un Etat est devenu Partie à la Convention après le 18 mai 1954 est comptée à partir de l’élection de ce membre.
