Abstract
On 25 January 1971, following his election as the Irish judge on the European Court of Human Rights. Mr. O’Donoghue resigned from the European Commission of Human Rights.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 22, para. 4, first sentence, of the Convention, Mr. Triantafyllides continues to sit as a member of the Commission, even though his term of office has formally expired.
