La création d’un organisme européen de transport aérien fut envisagée initialement en 1951, lorsque furent soumises à l’examen de l’Assemblée consultative du Conseil de l’Europe certaines propositions visant à réaliser le plus grand degré possible de coordination des transports aériens infra-européens et à établir à cette fin une institution européenne de l’aviation civile.
Abstract
A European air transport body was first envisaged in 1951 when the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe considered certain proposals aiming at achieving the greatest possible degree of co-ordination in intra-European air transport and establishing some kind of European civil aviation agency for the purpose.
