Abstract
We have tried to determine the relative importance of oscillations in arterial PCO2 and PO2 in giving rise to respiratory oscillations in the discharge of arterial chemoreceptors by using a high frequency ventilator to produce oscillations in PCO2 or PO2 alone or in both of them together.
