Abstract
The nature of management has often been discussed and analyzed in the countries of the Western world. Comparing the different points of view we will find out that there is, generally speaking, only one aspect which may be called a trait common to all national sciences involved. It can be simply formulated as follows: A businessman and a manager are primarily interested in making money, getting a profit — and nothing else. It is an answer given by people who may not be trained or educated at all in our fields relying upon the Rule-of-Thumb Method as a guide to their activities. It may be true, however, that this is a large group often being the majority.
