Measurement and Analysis of Solar Radiation Data

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: ISPRA Courses on Energy Systems and Technology ((ISPA))

Abstract

The radiation of the sun is the primary natural energy source of the planet Earth. Other natural energy sources are the cosmic radiation, the natural terrestrial radioactivity and the geothermal heat flux from the interior to the surface of the earth but these sources are energetically negligible as compared to solar radiation.
