Abstract
“The soul is injected into the body, there it finds number, time, dimension... We are aware... of the existence and nature of the finite because we, like it, are finite and extended. We are aware of the existence of the infinite, but we do not grasp its nature because, though it is extended as we are, it is unlike us in that it has no limits. We do not know either the existence or the nature of God, for he has neither extension nor limits.”
