Abstract

The Second Chapter of Book Γ, as we have seen, demonstrates how ousia as substantiality determines the way men and things are qua substances, the way they ‘substantiate’. All particulars are so structured that they can ‘receive’ such determination. They have a relational structure which relates them to this ‘one certain physis’.
