Deep Furrows on the Continents and in the Deep-Sea

  • Chapter
Symphony of the Earth

Abstract

The subject mentioned in the title is worth being treated at greater length and in more detail than can be done to-day. As a matter of fact, the time for this communication is limited to 15 minutes which means that there is no opportunity for long meditations. For a short introduction two minutes must suffice; just enough to say that I must restrict myself seriously and that I can summarize only very briefly a few remarkable features concerning some deep furrows in the East Indies and in Burma.
