Abstract

The study of the direct judicial control is to be completed by an examination of the liability of the Community for damages caused by its operation. This examination is to be limited in three ways. Firstly, it is restricted to the non-contractual liability of the Community for damages resulting from wrongful acts, omissions or conduct of its institutions. Secondly, it leaves aside the liability of the Community for its agents. Finally, action for damages of civil servants lodged against the Community institutions are not considered because these actions raise, to a large extent, problems of their own.
