Abstract

One aspect of the character of color has been studied extensively: its pleasantness or unpleasantness, its “affective value.” Color preferences obviously differ, both as regards order of preference for various colors and individual preferences for special colors. Some people may be attracted by blue or green, while others may prefer yellow or red.
