Abstract
Muscovite mica is the most commonly used mica dielectric material. It has a dielectric constant between 6.5 and 8.5. Muscovite mica can be split into thin sheets; it is non-porous and does not readily absorb moisture. Protection from moisture is provided to obtain capacitance stability and low losses.
