Abstract
The computer’s system disc may store in excess of 1000 images. However, this is only for the short term, and when the disc is full of scans they must be removed either by being discarded or stored on magnetic tape, floppy disc or hardcopy film. But before deciding on the storage medium one must take into account:
-
(1)
Ease of transfer,
-
(2)
Cost, and
-
(3)
Space available.
