Abstract

Although part of the results set of a vegetation classification may be graphical — the hierarchical diagram — the main product is a list of stands (or species) occurring in the different groups, or associations. Ordination results, on the other hand, are almost wholly graphical; much of the computer print-out consists of lists of co-ordinate values from which the graphs are finally plotted.
