Economic Impacts of Immigration

Abstract

The standard of living of a population is certainly one of the aspects of its economic situation which intimately affects the problem of immigration. It is not easy, however, to find satisfactory measures of this standard, notwithstanding the recent advances made in this regard by the development of economic analysis. While permitting greater precision, the values obtained still remain only an approximation.
