Abstract

The paper presents an overview of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging (NMRI) and its application to interfaces. The MRI technique can be used for studying defects such as voids and debonding in adhesive bonds and composites. It can be used to determine the degree of cure and homogeneity of the curing process. Finally, the technique can be used to study the sorption of moisture in the composite.
